I've just added video to this site of a concert honoring the 50th anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King that was performed in 2018. Five local composers created new works for string trio, narrator, and soprano. Mine, titled Eulogy, set a portion of King's final sermon at Ebenezer Baptist Church two months before he was assassinated, in which he gave his own eulogy. Local poet Regie Gibson created a narrative to underscore the significance of the event and to introduce each work. Click to view the score with program notes for my piece. Click here for a recording including Regie's opening remarks, or here without opening remarks.
I've just completed a new work for flute, bassoon, violin, and viola titled Fantasy. The piece was performed at the Walden School's Creative Musicians Retreat during the week of June 16, 2025 at the Dublin School in Dublin, NH. Click to view the score. Click here for a viedo recording of the premiere performance or here for an audio recording.
